These universal ear pads are the perfect solution to protecting your ears from cold weather and wind noise! These inserts fit a wide range of DOT helmets with a Y style helmet straps. Better DOT helmets use the stronger and more comfortable helmet Y straps. With a Y strap design the helmet straps attached in two spots to the outer shell and forms a Y on each side of helmet.
The outsides of the ear pads have two Velcro strips which attach ear pads to your helmets Y straps. Velcro strips can be used with fabric covered or plain nylon helmet Y straps. The top of each ear pad has a location tab which is designed to fit between the the helmet shell and and the helmet liner.
The inside of the ear pads have a comfortable padding which is designed to cover the ear and help protect from wind noise and cold weather.
Both ear pads have audio speaker pockets which will allow to use your phone or iPod speakers with these ear pads!!
Overall ear pads are 5 1/2" Wide x 4'' high and 3/4" Thick. The liner Insert tab which is 3 1/2" wide and 1'' high.
